When conjuring his first Pro Model snowboard in a decade – Danny was specific in wanting three things. First, tried-and-true freestyle geometry and a slightly wider waist for classic performance. Second, a true twin snowboard that looks directional because... well... he’s Danny Kass. And finally, a full-length long skateboard on the base of the board so that 'when you get air, it looks like you’re on a longboard.' Real Wood Powerply: Built with natural fiber, wood and bamboo topsheets drive the performance, aesthetic, and ethos that Arbor is known for. Several steps are taken to get a Powerply onto Arbor snowboards responsibly, and in a way that ensures durability and lasting quality.
Bio-Resin: All Arbor snowboards are made with Bio-Resin, a replacement for traditional petroleum-based resin. The ingredients that go into Bio-Resin are sourced as co-products or waste products of other industrial processes and are manufactured employing green chemistry techniques that reduce the carbon footprint of the material by up to 40%, when compared to its petroleum-based equivalent.
Highland II Core: A 10 / 20 blend of Poplar and Paulownia for a lighter, more responsive version of the Highland Core.
Mixed Glassing: A triax over biax lay-up that’s best for versatility: pow, backcountry, groomers, jumps, and more.
Base + Edges
Sintered Base: A higher molecular weight, sintered base that provides added durability and speed.
Recycled Steel Edges: Highly durable, recycled steel edges embody Arbor's key values: quality and sustainability.
Sidewall
360º Fully Wrapped Sidewalls: Eliminates the need for tip fill, while effectively tying the whole snowboard together. A technology that delivers incredibly tight tolerances for improved board life and durability.
